PMS-Specific Risk Disclosures

Portfolio Management Services (PMS) involves high risk and may not be suitable for all investors. The minimum investment is ₹50 Lakhs as per SEBI regulations.
Each security transaction in a PMS portfolio is a capital gains event in the investor's name. Frequent portfolio churn can result in significant short-term capital gains tax liability.
PMS strategies may hold concentrated positions that can result in significant losses if those positions move adversely.
Investors should carefully read the Disclosure Document (DD) of any PMS strategy before investing.
Exit loads, if applicable, can substantially reduce the effective return on investments exited before the lock-in or recommended tenure.
Performance fees in PMS reduce returns and must be factored into any return comparison with alternative products.
Key-man risk: if the investment manager responsible for the strategy leaves the PMS provider, the strategy may change character. Investors retain the right to exit without exit load in such circumstances in most cases.

AIF-Specific Risk Disclosures

Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) are suitable only for sophisticated investors with the ability to bear the loss of their entire investment. The minimum investment is ₹1 Crore per SEBI regulations.
AIF Category II funds are closed-ended and illiquid. Investors cannot redeem their investment before the fund's maturity period. Liquidity is limited to secondary sales, which may not always be available.
Investments in AIFs, particularly those focused on private/unlisted companies (Category I and II), carry the risk of total loss of capital.
AIF returns are uncertain and may be significantly below the target/hurdle rate. There is no guarantee that the hurdle rate will be achieved.
Carried interest (performance fee above the hurdle rate) is payable to the fund manager only after investors receive returns above the hurdle. However, investors bear all losses.
AIF Category III funds employing leverage and derivative strategies carry additional risks including leverage risk and counterparty risk.
Foreign currency exposure (for AIFs investing in offshore instruments) adds currency risk to the return profile.

Equity mutual funds are subject to market risk, liquidity risk, and risks related to concentration, sector exposure, and individual security performance.

ELSS (Equity Linked Savings Scheme) investments have a mandatory 3-year lock-in period from the date of each SIP installment.

Conflicts of Interest Disclosure

MavericksWealth earns trail commissions from mutual fund houses for products distributed as an AMFI-registered MFD (ARN: [ARN-XXXXXX]).
For PMS and AIF products, MavericksWealth may receive referral fees or revenue sharing from the product manufacturer. These arrangements are disclosed to clients on request.
Despite commission-based remuneration for MF distribution, MavericksWealth endeavours to recommend products based on their suitability for the client's specific situation, not on the basis of commission rates.
